Did you know that there is a town youth court?
The Huntington Youth Court is run for the youth, by the youth. Teens perform the roles of prosecuting and defending attorney, judge, bailiff, and jury. The court is for first-time offenders who are under 16-years-old.
If you're interested in law or would like a chance to volunteer while learning about the legal process and court system, you might consider becoming a volunteer! Training session starting September 29th. Call (631) 271-5547 if you're interested.
